A famous historic pub-restaurant the Black Rabbit is situated right on the River Arun.
The Black Rabbit is a charismatic riverside venue, just across the River Arun from Arundel Castle, a blissful boat trip from the historic town of Arundel and a short walk from the Wildfowl and Wetland Centre. Dating back to the early 19th Century, the bar is made up of beautifully restored choir pews. Old photos on the walls show the area throughout history, eclectic bric-a-brac lines the walls, two real wood fires and our “Little Library” make for fascinating design theme and a homely and cosy atmosphere.
In the warmer months, it’s a haven for people meeting up after a country walk with the dog; to enjoy the veranda along the front when it is decked with flowers, or to sit on the River Arun itself on our pontoon and moorings.
We love dogs, as all good pubs should! Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our bar and outdoor areas. Wi-Fi access is free to all our guests (subject to availability).
The Black Rabbit is proud to be part of the Hall & Woodhouse family. For more information on Hall & Woodhouse and to find other Hall & Woodhouse houses.
